One of the questions that I hear most often is, whether one method or tool is better than the other. You could use your fingers, a brush or a sponge to apply your foundation. They all are great as long as you know how to use them.

Here are some tips to get you started:

Fingers:

The most important step is to make sure your fingers are clean – so please wash your hands properly before applying any makeup. I love using my fingers as the heat from your hands help blending in the makeup properly. This is especially true when you are using tinted moisturizer, BB cream or a primer. It works equally well for foundation too. The finish is extremely natural without looking too made-up. For me, this is my perfect makeup tool!

Sponge:

The Beauty Blender Sponge seems to be a favorite tool of lot of makeup Divas and it sure does a great job of blending foundation on the skin. It is especially great when you are using lot of makeup and want to be able to blend it all in to create a more flawless look. However, it takes some time getting used to. It can make your face look really made up and caked if not buffed correctly. I highly recommend this Flawless makeup blender

Foundation Brush:

I don’t wear a foundation every day and prefer to use a BB cream just on my T zone as I have an oily skin but I love using foundation brushes sometimes whenever I do like to put in extra effort and dress up for the day and do my full face. The brush just makes it easier to blend and gives even coverage.I love these ones by Real Techniques Affordable highly rated brushes set
